Omisoka [Japanese Event]
Tonight may be the calmest day in Japan.
New Year's Eve is called "Omisoka"("大晦日"), which literally means the last day of the year.
- A half of Japanese households watch "Kouhaku-Utagassen"("紅白歌合戦") which is the music show broadcast by NHK(Japan Broadcasting Corporation) on only Omisoka with families at home.
- A lot of Japanese eat buckwheat noodles to live long.
- A lot of Japanese visit temples and shrines with their families or friends. This custom is called "Hatsu-Moude"("初詣").
Popular temples/shirined:

2. Naritasan-Shinshouji
3. Kawasaki-Taishi
4. Fushimi-Inari-Taisha
5. Atsuta-Jingu
Recently, Mixed Martial Arts related TV show which is called 'Dynamite!!' have become very popular. Today's main event is the last match of "Masato"("魔裟斗") who is the most popular K-1 player in Japan. I'm looking forwart to it. It's not calm at all!

I've already ordered buckwheat noodles, so my family will eat them watching it with a cake. Because today is my younger daugher' birthday!
For Your Information:buckwheat noodles("年越しそば")
